Dastaan-e-Zindagi tu bohot khamosh hai magar
Behtay ashkon ka shor sunana chahta hoon
Hai ujala bhi tu subh-e-kazib ki manind
Bas ek umeed zaroor dikhana chahta hoon
Mujh ko maloom hai manzil ki haqeeqat lekin
Parwana ban kr urh jana chahta hoon
Har chehra naqaab hai nafratoon kay ooper
Aur mein kiun kr un se mohabbatein le jana chahta hoon
Zindagi ka safar guzar janay per gumaan hua kay
Mein makhlooq-e-Qabar hoon magar dunya mein jeena chahta hoon
